BluWood NexGen Advanced™ is a unique and patented process that protects any species of timber from Water and Fire!
The first part of this technology is an Infusion-Film that forms a water repellent, semi-vapour permeable film that interlocks with wood fibres to provide controlled topical and subsurface moisture absorption. The Infusion-Film is specially formulated to resist mould fungus growth on the cured film.
The second part of this technology is Perfect Barrier DOT Wood Preservative, a proven highly penetrative “borate locking” resistance that forces borates - used for many years to protect wood - to migrate deep into the wood fibres for greater protection, rather than risk leaching out over time like other treatment methods.
